St. Joseph Catholic Academy is committed to provide the very best in Catholic education.  Our mission is to our Catholic faith by modeling the teachings of Jesus through example and service.  The highest standards in education are measured by proven methods that engage all our students.

Schedule A Student and/or Parent Visit
See the staff and students in action and ask questions.  Potential students may set up a "Shadow Day" Where they can buddy with a current student and visit classes, meet other students and instructors.  Parents will meet with an admissions representative to discuss your needs as a family.  You will be invited to tour the school. We recommend having this tour/meeting prior to your child's visit.  It can, however, be scheduled to occur simultaneously.

Preparing your child to visit SJCA
Getting to know each child is our favorite part of the admissions process! It is important that children feel comfortable and relaxed when they come to visit us.  They are welcome to spend the day with a class or just a few hours.

Placement Exam
All students seeking admission to the upper school (9-12) are required to take a placement exam.  This two hour placement exam evaluates reading, writing, science and math.

Submit Records
The following documents are necessary to apply:

  • Recent immunization forms
  • All available reports cards
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal certificate (if applicable)

Submit the Registration
Registration Forms (K-12) and Pre-Admission Forms may be submitted at either campus with the registration fee. Please contact the Admissions team if this fee presents a financial burden.

The Montessori Registration Form may also be submitted at either campus.

Statement of Nondiscrimination

SJCA respects the dignity of the student and his or her desire for an education in a Catholic School.  St. Joseph Catholic Academy does not discriminate on the basis of religion, sex, race, color, national origin, or disability.

It is our policy to offer a Catholic education to any student who desires it, if the student can meet the academic requirements of the school by reasonable accommodations through the Learning Resource Center.

All new students are on probation for the first year.  If the student is unable to adjust to the school, its academic expectations, behavioral expectations, or Lancer Value System, the student may be asked to not return.
