SPRING MUSICAL - ANYTHING GOES
St. Joseph Catholic Academy is excited to present Anything Goes as the spring production. Anything Goes is a musical featuring Cole Porter’s music and lyrics. The story concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. The musical introduced such songs as "Anything Goes", "You're the Top", and "I Get a Kick Out of You."
Families are asked to help support the musical by selling ad space in the program book, by selling tickets to the show, and by volunteering. Money earned from the musical ad book is directed specifically to the school’s operating budget. Look for an email coming soon with the 2012 advertising program costs and incentives for the students as well as ticket sale information. For underwriting or sponsorship opportunities, please contact Pauline at (262) 654-8651 ext. 115 or email pmcternan@kenoshastjoseph.com for information.
