To All Friends, Families, Parents and Athletes:
I would like to personally welcome you to St. Joseph Catholic Academy athletics. I am excited to have you become a part of the program. I feel that participation in athletics is an important part of the education process, as athletic participation and competition provide a great opportunity for a student athlete to develop knowledge, skill, teamwork and positive attitudes so that they may become productive, contributing citizens of our community and society.
The main goal of SJCA athletic program is to provide an experience that is fun, and promotes individual growth with a safe and healthy environment. We provide a variety of competitive sports throughout all levels of the St. Joseph Catholic Academy. I hope all students will take advantage of the opportunities our program has to offer.
When your son/daughter chooses to participate in one or more of our sports programs, I feel that they have committed themselves to certain responsibilities and obligations. At the beginning of each season there will be a mandatory parent/athlete/ coaches meeting. This enables you as a parent/ athlete to discuss with the coach his or her rules and expectations.
